Appreciated our stay, recommend this place. Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with our husband, we spent 2 nights here, everything was incredible. Our king room was equipped with fantastic views and nice bathroom, for example. The staff were happy to help entire time. Remote location was a plus.

Characterful hotel in a lovely area really close to a modified coast to coast MTB route, pleasant garden area and beautiful gardens. Good views of the lake from individual and comfortable rooms. Unbelievable location, within a walking distance of everywhere.

We had 2 sunny days here, recommend the place. The breakfast was vegan and superb with fruit or toast and the options of yoghurts, for example, had everything you could want. The location was beautiful and marvellous, the staff were happy to help.

The king room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was compact with the yellow tile bathroom. The staff were happy to help throughout the stay.

I liked bright room in this hotel.
I stayed in the room that was not cleaned our bedsheets where only flipped around and available with a view. The location was magnificent and fantastic, just off the waterside as well as the restaurant in the evening. Also, it was about 15 minutes' drive to Hawes Water.

It was very enjoyable short 2 days, will be back. Everything was modern, so were magnificent views across to the imposing mountains opposite. Reasonably good stuff, they helped us a lot. The vegetarian breakfast was excellent and superb, a great selection of options.

As young people, we loved the stunning location with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The art deco style building was well maintained, and the rooms were comfortable and beautiful. The food, especially the dinner and breakfast, was absolutely fabulous. The hotel has a great ambiance and history.
Felt privileged, no complaints at all.
